Thomson - The remains of Mrs. Charlotte Ann Freleigh Thomson who departed this life August 26, 1920, at Los Angeles, California, were interred at the Front of Syndey Burying Ground on the afternoon of Wednesday, the eight instant. Mrs. Thomson was the wife of the Reverend Samuel Thomson, D. D., of Los Angeles, who was formerly a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Canada, and for many years has been a prominent member of the Southern California Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Besides her husband, Mrs. Thomson left a daughter, Frances, the wife of Dr. Albert J. Fraleigh of Toronto; a son, Archibald Percival Thomson, an attorney of Los Angeles, California, and two brothers, Joseph C. Fraleigh of Uhrichsville, Ohio, and Percival M. White, Esq. of Buffalo N. Y. She was born near Picton, Prince Edward County and was the daughter of George W. and Rachel Fraleigh, and after the death of her father removed to the Front of Sydney with her mother who resided there for many years and will be remembered as Mrs. Rachel Lake, formerly Mrs. Franklin White. In addition to her son, who accompanied the remains from Los Angeles, her brothers and many other relatives and friends attended the services which were held at the cemetery, the Reverend Dr. Mutton officiating. The bearers were S. A. Lockwood, Wilbur Sharpe, Harry Boyce, H. Hogle, P. M. White and J. C. Fraleigh."
