The Ontario farm (now owned by Bud and Molly Leckie or Leckey) received its patent on Sep 15, 1803. It was purchased on Dec 22,1846 by James D. Goslee. It was purchased on Dec 27, 1869 from Richard Alger by Richard Kelley. There is no record of a transfer of title from Goslee and Alger but Alger may have been an executor of an estate. In 1871, Richard and Anne were living in Cramahe Township with their children Mary, John, George, William, James and Charles. In 1891, they were still in Cramahe Township living with George, James and Charles, as well as Sarah A. (Kelly) Johnson and Ethel Johnson. Research Notes
