• Note: 8 January 1794; Fredericksburgh Twp., Lennox & Addington Co., Ontario; Land Petition: "the bearer, Garret Dingman, having on the twenty eighth day of January the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety four preferred to this Board a Petition address to His Excellency the Lieut. Governor in Council for a grant of two hundred acres of land in the Township of Richmond in the Midland District. We have examined into his character and pretensions and find that he has received one hundred acres in the township of Fredericksburgh in the Midland District as a loyalist and that he has settled on and has improved the same and that he is entitled to a further assignment of two hundred acres in the township of --- in the Midland District. • Residence*: 8 January 1794; Fredericksburgh Twp., Lennox & Addington Co., Ontario; Per Land Petition, Garret Dingman already had received a grant of 100 acres in Fredericksburgh which he had settled on and improved by the time of the petition for a further 200 acres. Not sure which Garret Dingman this is??
• Census*: 1799; Percy Twp., Northumberland Co., Ontario; Jacob, John and Gutar Dingman are listed in the list of residents in 1799 in Percy Twp. It is taken from "The Percy Portage", page 108, copied at The Warkworth Public Library, 5-2-1003
  Note: Not sure if this is the "Gutar" shown on this list but is the only one likely.
