    "MRS. EDITH SMUCK; Mrs. Edith Smuck, wife of Dr. Wallace Smuck died yesterday at her home, 74 Beaconsfield Avenue, following a lengthy illness, which she had suffered in patience. Ever since taking up residence in Toronto 28 years ago, Mrs. Smuck had been a member of Chalmers Presbyterian Church, and was actively interested in church work. She took particular interest in the Women’s Association of the church, and for many years held office as the Treasurer. Apart from church activities, Mrs. Smuck was wholly devoted to her home. She was born in Brighton, Ont., 56 years ago, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert R. Craig. In 1903 she was married to Dr. Smuck, and for three years thereafter lived in Binbrook, where her husband practiced. She then came with Dr. Smuck to Toronto, where she had since resided.
