Born in Percy Township, he was the son of the late Albert Armstrong and Fracnes Goodfellow. His is survived by his wife, the former Vanya Nielsson. A resident of Warkworth for 10 years, Mr. Armstrong formerly lived near Orland in Brighton Township. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Norma Hay, Warkworth. He was predeceased by one sister, Mrs. Winnifred Potter, Warkworth. Mr. Armstrong was a retired farmer. He was educated in Warkworth. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church. He was a member of Frankford Masonic Lodge which held a memorial service in the Allen Funeral Home, Warkworth, Tuesday evening, Feb 4. Services were conducted Wednesday, Feb 5, at 2 p.m. in the Allen Funeral Home chapen by Rev. G. H. Lavery, St. Paul's Church. Pallbearers were Frank Moran, Arthur Ames, William Bowen, Gerald Philp, James McCleary and George Potter.
