  • Note: 7 August 2005; Cramahe Twp., Shiloh, Northumberland Co., Ontario; I spoke to Muriel (Mutton) McRae at the Decoration Day gathering for Shiloh Cemetery where dad officiated. She told me that she has a book about Hinman history which has not been published. It was many pages, type-written, and has been given out to a few others although she thinks it has not been published anywhere. She offered to show it to me and agreed that I could come and scan it and use the genealogy content in my database. An English lady was with her assisting, I assume a daughter-in-law, since Muriel is 94 and is failing a bit. I gave this lady my web site address and she said she would email me. I took Muriel's phone number - 705-742-3767 - and said I would call her at some point to arrange a visit.7
