He was employed by the Union Bank of Canada and also was on the staff of a United States bank in Detroit for several years before coming to Leamington in 1932. He was a member of Leamington United Church and also a member of Lodge No. 223, Norwood, A.F. & A.M. Surviving besides his wife are three brothers, W. J. Puffer of Havelock, Gordon T. of Peterborough, and Harry of Lindsay, and one sister, Mrs. J. Murray of Sherman Oaks,Calif.
