- Death*: 3 November 1983; Trenton Memorial Hospital, Trenton, Hastings Co., Ontario; "Earl Clinton Goodfellow (Wooler) - Funeral was held Nov. 5 from the Weaver Funeral Home, Trenton, for Earl Clinton Goodfellow, 71, of Wooler, who died Nov. 3 in Trenton Memorial Hospital. Service was conducted by Rev. John Hyer, of Wooler with burial in Friends Cemetery, Wooler. Son of the late John and Ethel Goodfellow, Mr. Goodfellow is survived by his wife Caroline. He is also survived by two sons, John of Thornhill, Robert of Wooler, three daughters, Lisa Goodfellow of Wooler, Mrs. Sharon Pope of Ohio and Mrs. Mona Adcock of Hampton, 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Born in Wooler, Mr. Goodfellow was employed by the ministry of lands and forests working in the Northumberland forest and then working in the Durham forest before retiring in 1972. He lived for the past 11 years in Wooler and prior to that he lived in Roseneath. Bearers were David Byrd, Harry Weese, Bill Twyman, Orland Byrd, Colin Goodfellow and Carl Byrd. Honorary bearers were Roy Bailey, Jim Edwards, Percy Greenley, Ron Vincent and Eric Goodfellow. The Hastings Legion held a special memorial service.
