"http://dorothyturcotte.ca/geneology6.html - daughter of Owen Roblin and Fidelia Hagerman
http://genforum.genealogy.com/roblin/messages/19.html - Debby Worden; Mary Roblin had her OC Nov 19, 1798 so she could of been as young as born 1782 (1798 minus 16) She recorded at that time that she was the daughter of Owen Roblin and wife of Solomon Orser. So in 1798 she was already married to Solomon Orser and had at least 2 children: hannah born 1796, and Solomon Jr born 1798. This could make her born as early as 1780 (1796 minus 16). Solomon Orser per July 4, 1785 was a family of 2 so he had a wife. If Mary Roblin was his first wife that would place her as born by 1769 (1785 minus 16). Owen Roblin Sr came to Canada with his brother Philip. I do know that Philip Roblin was born 1750. he married Elizabeth Miller. They left NY on the HOPE July 3, 1783. The British headquarter Papers 1782 Owen Male, female 4 children 2 >10, 2<10 total of 5. So Mary Roblin was in those 2 brackets http://genforum.genealogy.com/roblin/messages/26.html - Linda Herman- I concur that Mary's father is Owen Sr, brother to John PHILLIP Roblin (known as Phillip). We have her birthdate as about 1769, her brother Owen b. about 1767 and a sister Rebecca b. about 1771....there was one more child but we have no information on that child. It appeared that though his wife was with him at the British headquarters she was not on the Hope nor did she appear in Ontario.
http://ryeland.com/getperson.php?personID=I4664&tree=Ryeland - Mary, the eldest of the family, married and settled I the States, but eventually moved into Canada and died at Goderich, where she left considerable property. Mary Roblin (Owen1) daughter of Owen Roblin Sr. was born 1769 in New York. About 1795, she married Solomon Orser, son of Joseph Orser/Aertse and Anntje Jurkes. Solomon was born 1761 in Sleepy Hollow, New York. Mary and Solomon lived in Fredericksburg and Kingston, Ontario. Mary died before 1806 and Solomon died between 1836 and 1837 in Reach Twp.

The Roblins originally came from Wales. Mary's father, Owen Sr., had a farm near Cornwall, New York in Orange County. During the war, he was imprisoned and kept in irons for 13 weeks. He joined the British in 1779 and was employed in the Barrack Master's Department, along with his brother, Philip. After the war, both Philip and Owen came to Canada with Peter Ruttan's group of Associated Loyalists in June, 1784. The group went first to Sorel, Quebec, then moved west to settle at Adolphustown. At the time, Owen had with him his son, Owen Jr." per GEDCOM of Cheryl (Kemp) Taber, Feb 21 2012.1
